Just got home from Santorini and was so excited to unpack our painting. It is absolutely stunning. Such a beautiful piece of artwork with texture and movement. I am so pleased with it. Haven’t hung it yet but will take a picture anyway.

I ordered one of the pieces by Maudsch (Colorful Melody 64"X32") and initially, didn’t realize where it was being produced and where it was actually coming from (Netherlands!). So I had some concerns about the painting making its way to the USA in one piece. I will admit, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the painting itself and the delivery to my home. It’s a beautiful oil painting which I’ve placed in my office and the perfect complement to my working from home environment. During production, the company applied a process to double check with me on all the details - including sending me pics of the piece for approval before completing it. The delivery was through DHL and it was well wrapped to make the trip without incident. I am thrilled I ordered this beautiful piece. I am seriously considering another one. Thank-you!

The hardest part was deciding which paintings to choose. Maudsch has so many great options. Ultimately, we chose this series and chose to get our own custom frames. Then choosing a size became the next hurdle. Cutting out sample sizes from Amazon cardboard boxes and taping them to the wall helped us make the choice.
Maudsch delivered a nicely painted trio within 3 or 4 weeks, and you can really tell that they are painted by hand, not a lithograph or photocopy. They look great. It took another month to get the custom frames and then a day to install. The custom frames accentuate the quality of the painting.

This painting “Lost in Thoughts” gave a sense of calm and serenity in the living room of my home and I love it. I would have ordered a size larger but I was not sure if it will fit on the limited space on the wall. But it’s good enough.
