Shinichi Mori
Shinichi is a Japanese painter shaped by a quiet, wandering childhood. He grew up in Hokkaido, surrounded by snowy fields and still winters. His family moved often, because his dad was a mining officer. From the historic charm of Lijiang in China to the coastal calm of Gangneung in Korea, each place left its mark. His paintings are a broad mix of his favorite: Landscape Portraits. Now back in Hokkaido, he lives in Niseko with his wife, who is a sculpter, in a home they built and designed together! Their shared Art Room is a space where ideas flow freely and coffee is always close. Shinichi doesn’t aim to impress. He simply paints what he wants and what feels true.
